I’m Darin Barker, founder of Bare Ritual. I started with a simple goal: build a great sauna. As it took shape, I became more interested in what could happen around it—the conversations, the shared experience, and the connections people might make.

The question grew from “How do I build a great sauna?” to “How do I create the conditions for people to connect?”

For me, that starts with simple things: wood-fired heat, fresh air, and time with other people. A space where you can put your phone down, settle in, and have something in common with someone you’ve just met.

Sauna culture belongs in Northern California. We’re helping it grow in the San Francisco Bay Area by making it easy to bring people together around wood-fired heat and fresh air.

We bring the sauna, prepare the space, and tend the fire. You enjoy time with your guests—and an experience worth sharing.
